Ordering and Shipping Information


How to Order

You can order using any major credit or debit card, by using our PayPal Shopping Cart.

YOU DO NOT NEED TO HAVE (OR OPEN) A PAYPAL ACCOUNT TO ORDER USING A CREDIT CARD!

If PayPal asks you if you wish to open an account, just tell it 'No' (assuming that you don't want to open one) and continue.

If you don't want to order online, you can print out our order form, fill it out, and mail it to us with your check or money order. If you need a second page to the order form, please click here.

If double-clicking on the link above doesn't open the order form for you, it's possible that you need the Adobe Acrobat Reader to access it. You can get the Acrobat Reader, which is free, from Adobe's website: http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readstep2.html

We can only accept US currency. Local banks charge $20 to convert a check in any other currency. However, if you use a credit or debit card through the PayPal shopping cart, it automatically converts the currency.

If you wish, you can email an order to us, and then mail us your check or money order. In that case, please email sales@containerseeds.com . Please be sure to include item names and item numbers in your email. Please also be sure to include your name, phone number, and shipping address in the email.

Or you can phone an order to us, and then mail us your check or money order. Please phone between 4pm and 8pm , Eastern USA Time, Monday through Friday My Father and I work during the day. Our phone number is (USA) 570-638-2524.

Note: in most cases, we will ship upon receipt of a check. If we should have an unusually large order, we reserve the right to wait for the check to clear before shipment.

Shipping Information

Shipments Within the USA

We use the US Post Office to ship. It's by far the most cost-effective way for us to ship your order. We ship seeds only First Class Mail, and supplies usually by Parcel Post. Sometimes, we can ship supplies almost as cheaply First Class as Parcel Post, and then of course, we will use First Class.Please note it may take 1 to 2 weeks to ship your order.

Shipments to Countries Other than the USA

  • If you are purchasing seeds (only) for shipment to any country other than the USA, you will need to purchase a supplementary (additional) shipping amount of $5.00 (total shipping costs of $6.50). This additional shipping amount is purchased by clicking on this button:

  • For people living outside the USA, we doubt that we'll be an economic source of supplies. But if you really want to buy any supplies from us in spite of the high shipping cost, please email us and let us know what you would like to buy and your country of residence, and we'll let you know how much the postage would be.

    We are happy to ship seeds to any country for which the US Postal Service will accept the shipment, with the following exceptions: we cannot accept orders that originate in or involve shipping to Malaysia, Singapore, Haiti, or Nigeria. We cannot accept an order for shipment to to an address in a country different than the country of residence of the buyer.

    PLEASE NOTE THAT WE CANNOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR DELAYS, CUSTOMS, TAXES, EXCISE FEES, OR NON-ACCEPTANCE OF SEEDS SENT TO ANY COUNTRY OTHER THAN THE USA. If you wish to avoid problems, please check with the proper authorities in your own country.

    UK Customers Please Note: The US Post Office will accept all our seeds for shipment to the UK, except beet seeds. So please don't order beet seeds for shipment to the UK. We cannot, however, guarantee acceptance at your end of things (as stated above).

    Refund Policy

    Seeds are living organisms, subject to many influences over which we have no control before they are in our hands, or after we have sent them out. We cannot, therefore, issue any specific warranty.

    But we want to sell only high quality seeds in prime condition, and if something is not right, we need to know about it. We also know that, in order to stay in business, we need happy customers: customers who will buy from us each year. So we want you to be happy with the items you buy from us. That's our main goal, that is what we need to do for our business to continue to exist and to grow.

    If you are unhappy with your purchase for any reason, please email us and tell us about it. We cannot fix a problem if we do not know about it!

    Tell us what the problem is and whether you would like a replacement or a refund. Email sales@containerseeds.com .

    We will send you your choice of a refund or replacement in at least 99% of cases. We reserve the right not to issue refunds to someone who we have good and sufficient reason to believe is trying to rip us off: for example, if someone orders 100 different types of seeds and then tells us none of them germinated in spite of correct treatment on his part. This would be patently untrue, ridiculous. But otherwise, we will send you a refund or a replacement.

    We measure our seeds carefully, but we are human beings and all human beings make occasional mistakes. If you believe you didn't get the full quantity of any seed you ordered, let us know (preferably via phone call). We will promptly send the additional seeds, at no additional cost to you.
